Once upon a time

Not long ago

If I remember carefully

It was two hours before the knocking at the door

I met this lady two times in a row

Once at a party and once at her home

She invited me in and pour me a drink

One thing lead to another, we were communicating intimately

Hour after hour in her sweet home

Talking about what happened to her a few weeks ago

Minute after minute tears from her eyes came down

Some jerk hurt her deeply and wouldn’t let go

Second after second I comforted her

She told me she love me and will kill me if I ever desert her

Heartbeat after heartbeat I crew afraid

Because this Beauty no longer seemed like a maiden

Letting the fear go, wasn’t easy

Because it was damn unpleasing

What this Lady said

And now she’s coming after me

What can I do for her to release me

I thought I Loved her, but that was an emotion stimulated by vision

And now I will make it my mission

To bring forth a division

It seemed like an ordinary Tuesday

Adults work and children play

“Come together, there’s something I need to say”

The saying of an old man who passed away

“You’re not welcome to stay!”

The words he heard on that very same day

He practically begged them to pray

For the boys and girls who will go astray

But everyone just walked one way

Time and time again I see the Shadow

Growing and showing Its true color

Black! The color of night

And black it will remain

As I hear the call

Darkness fall

It left me surprised as I realised

That Shadow, was like a blanket covering me

Time and time again my heart cries out

Time again my mind shouts aloud

Again and again my body gives in

My soul no longer wants to sing

My shoulders seems fine

But the heaviness decline

I knew in time

This Shadow will say: “This boy is mine!”

I wasn’t possessed I was depressed

I must confess a little obsessed

I had to know

Who or what is this Shadow

A truth so clear, I’ve refused to hear

another day wakey wakey alarm clock rude awakening, me tired sleepy dreaming lala land, please another minute of shut eye im so tired so i retire under my blanky, sleeping now like a baby my second alarm can't wake me, i have no choice but to get up i'm so fed up can't stand up, will power kick in, overdrive, the price of being a live the nine to five, not always doing what you love and so hard to love the thing you do, talking about work not making love, rushing to make it on time and then when you arrive counting down the time, now you among your peers colleagues working there for years counting down the years 'til retirement, is this the plot of our lives, days of our lives, repetition, day in day out the same thing, where's the adventure not fairytales or once upon a times, real life, living on the edge, bonnie and clyde, no need to be that dangerously living but at least do some living, doing something fulfilling only if you are willing, 'coz it may take away from you what you are so holding onto, make that sacrifice make that choice, end that cycle recycle and throw out the old to allow in the new, this accomplishment only achieved by a few, this is nothing new just new to you, if you lack the knowledge this lyrics are here to give you a clue hoping it will stick like glue, 1 2 3 i mean 3 2 1 another countdown, reaching the end, that's all folks, credit roll

For years you placed your hope in a system that fails, that's temporary, that can never fill that emptiness inside of you, your misplaced hope brought you heartaches, pain and a sense of failure, but now you know the truth, now you know true hope and where to place it, I'm your loving Father, who never fails, never loose sight of the larger picture, trust in Me and My plans for you, it is good and not to harm you, it might not make sense and easy, but in due time all will fall into place, give me your heart, your hope, place it in Me, your loving Father
