something to inspire, lifting His name up higher, i once was a liar until He burnt me with that Holy Ghost fire, i was lost until i was lost in His presence, He found me, i am and always will be, His, Jesus my Saviour changing all my bad habits and behaviours, gave my life to Him, no other King, He is my Lord, my dad ABBA Father, giving me words to inspire, inspiring me to lift His name up higher, lifting my spirit, i was down cast, in a nightmare that i thought will last, a never ending story, but deep down i knew in the end it will bring Him glory, my storm won't last, someday it will be a thing of the past, my heartache and all the pain will fade away, swept away in His presence each and everyday, a new dawn a new day, His mercies are new, brand new, each and everyday

i hear you calling my name, you gave me a heart of a lion ferociously loving you, my Almighty Loving Father, GOD, thank you for my life, thank you for never leaving and never forsaking me, You are my shepherd, i shall not be in want, thank you for my inspiration, i've lost faith along the way, but You kept Your faithfulness towards me, You are all that i need, when i couldn't see an outcome You were already aware and made away, You are holding me in the palm of Your hand, no safer place for me to be, fill me with Your anointing each day, inspire me every day, keep me on the straight and narrow, i don't want to go astray, keep me safe i pray

you don't want to hear the truth, the truth is too much for you, can't handle it so you rather stand on lies and compromise, not realising it much more like quicksand, slowly you are sinking but you can't see it, too focus on that which isn't real, all about how it makes you feel, a happy chappy wanting everything to happen in a snappy, no patience no sense of reality, but it's time you listen and listen up, you might be angry and fed up, but this you got to hear before it's time up, let me tell you about a path we are all on since birth, a life that leads to death, spiritually everlasting eternity, but we have a way out, won't lie it will cost you, you will have to deny yourself pick up your cross and follow Jesus, the Way, the Truth, the Life, He's the only doorway to heaven, only access to eternal life, it's worth the price, just count the cost, He paid a price so that we won't be lost, make Him Lord and Saviour of your life

ghosts of the past, hope you won't last, silly of me to ask, but try if i may, coz really i don't want you to stay, if only i can have my way, if only i say, dark clouds i see, because of my actions i believe, forgiveness i ask, but forgetting not an easy task, nightmares not only at night, wake up and fight, my demons day and night, serve me right they would say, i agree payment for my ways, no one else to blame, walking in shame, trying to keep me sane, from all my thoughts and feelings flowing through my heart, hope it won't last, coz it's not easy living with my ghosts of the past
